The latest Premier League rumours including news from Manchester United, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur
Premier League clubs have the chance to bolster their ranks this summer. Liverpool look well on the way to winning the title, whilst Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswcih Town appear set to make an immediate return to the Championship.
Firstly, according to The Mirror, Manchester United are ‘looking’ into a deal for Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who could cost around the £40million mark. The 27-year-old has been a key player for the Eagles over recent times.

Mateta, who is a former France youth international, joined the London club on an initial loan deal back in 2021 beforehis switch to Selhurst Park was later made permanent. He has since made 123 appearances in all competitions and has scored 41 goals, 15 of which have come this season.
Crystal Palace could face a battle to keep hold of him in the next transfer window. Prior to his switch to his current club, he had spells at Lyon and Mainz.
The 3AM Verdict: It is no secret that Manchester United could do with some more firepower at the top end of the pitch. It has been well documented how much they have struggled to so far this season. Mateta would be a useful option for the Red Devils if they managed to lure him up north. He is a real handful in thePremier League and has proved that he can score goals.
West Ham, Wolves and Everton eye Tammy Abraham
West Ham, Wolves and Everton are admirers of Roma’s £34m forward Tammy Abraham, as per Italian news outlet CalcioMercato. He is currently on loan at AC Milan but is being linked with a return to England later this year.

Abraham, 27, rose up through the academy ranks at Chelsea and had loan spells away from Stamford Bridge at Bristol City, Swansea City and Aston Villa to get some experience under his belt. He then broke into the Blues’ first-team before heading out the exit door on a permanent basis in 2021 when Roma came calling.
His long-term future in Serie A is now up in the air and West Ham, Wolves and Everton are all said to be interested in landing him. He is due to return to his parent club when this campaign ends and they have a big decision to make on what to do with him next.
The 3AM Verdict: West Ham and Everton could see Abraham as someone to boost their attacking ranks this summer. The latter are moving into their new stadium and he would be an ideal addition before their new era begins. Wolves need to secure their status in the top flight first and foremost before they can start properly plotting signings.
Tottenham Hotspur eye Antoine Semenyo
Tottenham Hotspur are set to lodge an official offer for AFC Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo, CaughtOffisde claim. Ange Postecoglou wants the Ghana international up front for his team next term.

The ex-Bristol City man linked up with the Cherries back in 2023 after catching the eye in the Football League. He has since adapted well to the step up a division and has become a key player.
Semenyo has found the net on 18 occasions in 77 outings for the Dorset side. At the age of 25, he still has plenty of time left and could be a shrewd addition if Spurs managed to secure his services.
The 3AM Verdict: Spurs would benefit from some fresh options in their squad. It has been a tricky season for the London club and they will want to do a lot better next time around. Semenyo is someone who is worth a punt and has shown he can cause problems to opposition defenders at the top level.
