Over the past few years, Brighton & Hove Albion have signed several youngsters from South America to improve their squad.
The Premier League club continue to search the market for young talents and have their eyes set on Boca Juniors’ Milton Delgado.
That’s at least what Boca Noticias are reporting, and they provide the latest on Brighton.
The 19-year-old graduated from the Argentine club’s youth system and was promoted to their first team in March 2024. He made 17 appearances last year and made four more this year.
Delgado’s appearances have been limited this year as he represented Argentina at the 2025 South American U20 Championship. Since returning from the tournament, the outlet says he has been a key figure under Boca Juniors manager Fernando Gago.
The report states Brighton have shown interest in the defensive midfielder and have been following him. The Seagulls continue to keep an eye on him, most likely for the summer window.
It’s not made clear whether Brighton plan to make an approach for Delgado. His contract lasts until December 2028 and the report states Boca Juniors are looking to offer him an extension.
