Everton have gone through several managers over the last decade.
During Farhad Moshiri’s reign, which came to an end in December, Everton were constantly chopping and changing in the dugout.
Moshiri sacked six managers in total and some have carved out successful careers away from Goodison Park.
Marco Silva is considered one of the best managers in the Premier League at Fulham whilst Frank Lampard is reinvented at Coventry City.
Now, another one of Moshiri’s sacked managers is being heavily rumoured to land the prestigious Rangers job.

Rafael Benitez rumoured to join Rangers
Everton sacked Rafael Benitez after just less than seven months in charge at the beginning of 2022.
The former Liverpool boss never really won over the Goodison Park faithful and his results simply weren’t good enough.
Benitez was most recently the Celta Vigo boss but the La Liga club sacked him in March 2024 after a poor run of form.

Now, however, the Spaniard could be set for a return to British football as Rangers are considering appointing the 64-year-old.
That’s according to the Daily Record, who also claim Benitez is aware of the speculation linking him to Ibrox.
Benitez previously admitted he wants Premier League return
Benitez, speaking to the Liverpool Echo earlier this month, admitted that he’s keen on a return to the Premier League.
“I have had a lot of offers during the year,” the Spaniard revealed.
“But I was always waiting for the Premier League because it’s the league that I like. You have to choose the right opportunity and hopefully it will come soon.”
Rangers, however, are expected to pose as a really tempting destination for Benitez, so perhaps he may make an acception for the Scottish powerhouses.
