Wolves captain Nelson Semedo was impressed by one of his teammates in particular against Everton.
The Old Gold moved six points clear of the relegation zone after securing a point at home to the Toffees.
Wolves and Everton drew 1-1 in a contest that was dominated by Vitor Pereira’s side, who managed to cope without star forward Matheus Cunha.
As expected, the hosts’ clinical streak was missing without Cunha but, several players stood up in the Brazilian’s absence.

Nelson Semedo impressed with Pablo Sarabia
It was Marshall Munetsi who scored the decisive goal but, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde was the forward who earned high praise for his performance.
Bellegarde’s confidence has rocketed in recent weeks, as the Frenchman continues to thrive under Pereira’s guidance.
Though the 26-year-old is the man of the moment whilst Cunha serves his suspension, it wasn’t only Bellegarde who earned the headlines for his display against Everton.
Speaking to Wolves’ official website after the game, Nelson Semedo credited Pablo Sarabia for giving the squad a ‘boost’ in the second half.

“We worked a lot, especially the second half, we tried to create and created a lot of chances, especially when Pablo [Sarabia] came on,” the Wolves captain said.
“He gave us a boost offensively, but we couldn’t score. We have an important game next week and we’ll try to win that game as well.”
Pereira wanted more from Sarabia prior to the game and that’s exactly what he got, as the 32-year-old ensured he had a positive influence on proceedings, even if Wolves couldn’t find a way to win.
Vitor Pereira needs Sarabia to step up
Without Cunha, Wolves are missing an eye-watering amount of goal threat, something that Pereira has to compensate for.
Fortunately, with players such as Bellegarde and Sarabia performing, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel but, the level still needs to be raised.

Sarabia is expected to leave Wolves in the summer as a free agent and can ensure he departs on a good note if he can rediscover his past form.
The quality that the playmaker has on his day is unlike anyone’s skill set in the Wolves squad, telling why Pereira needs more from the former PSG star.
Next up for Wolves come bottom of the table Southampton, a fixture that could present another opportunity for Sarabia.
