Chelsea and Liverpool battling for a €50 million La Liga star Jesus Rodriguez.

Jesus Rodriguez has got some attention from Premier League

Real Betis winger Jesus Rodriguez has been grabbing attention from **Chelsea**and **Liverpool**as per reports. He has been having key impact for his side this season. Since Manchester United’s Antony has joined the Betis side on loan, Jesus has been shining in La Liga. Manuel Pellegrini and his team are clearly having a not so good campaign this year.

In the end of October, the 19-year-old made his senior debut. That game was against non-league side CD Gevora in Copa del Rey. He scored in that game within 20 minutes of his arrival. His rise in the team in the span of four months has been impressive.

Pellegrini has shown faith in the teenager to start Betis’ last seven games in the Spanish league. The winger netted his first goal for the club against Alaves. He also won a vital penalty against Real Madrid. Isco converted from the spot kick in their 2-1 win over the reigning champions.

🚨 Chelsea are interested in Real Betis' Jesus Rodriguez, who has a £42m release clause.

Liverpool are also monitoring the 19-year old's progress.

In an interview with El Desmarque at the start of this year, he was talked about his future. He said: “Right now I feel like I’m doing well at the club, I have a contract until 2029 and I hope it’s many more years. I’m happy here at Betis, I’m working day by day and whatever has to happen, happens. While I’m here I’ll give everything for the team.”

The youngster has been part of Betis’ youth team since 2021. He was also in their reserves team since the summer of 2023. He has yet to get promoted to the first team, but his hard work has helped him get into Pellegrini’s team. T

he teenager has been training with their first team since the start of the campaign. However, he wasn’t a part of their squad for the majority of their matches in the first half. Since the end of 2024, he has gained the manager’s confidence and started getting his minutes.
