It is a special day as far as Chelsea are concerned as the 10th of March brings up 120 years since the club were formed.
The Blues won a smattering of trophies in their first century as a club, however the real success has come in the last 20 years or so, when Roman Abramovich took over as owner.
He facilitated a number of big-name signings coming in, with the likes of John Terry and Frank Lampard going on to become club legends after winning pretty much every trophy that was available to them.
As the latter took charge of the club in a full circle moment, one of the key additions in his first summer transfer window following a ban was to bring in Thiago Silva on a free signing.
In four years at the club, the Brazilian finally got his hands on the Champions League trophy in the final moments of an illustrious career in European football.

Thiago Silva sends Chelsea message on 120th birthday
While his impact on the pitch was brilliant, he had an equally big part to play in improving his teammates.
Recently departed Deivid Washington praised Silva for having a big impact on his career, while Noni Madueke named Silva the best player he has played with at Stamford Bridge, ahead of the likes of Cole Palmer.
Given the positive memories he has from the spell at Stamford Bridge in the twilight of his career, Silva is one of those who has taken to social media to wish a Happy Birthday to Chelsea on their big day.

Thiago Silva struggling in 2025
After Silva left Chelsea, he moved back to Brazil to join Fluminense, who were in danger of relegation before his arrival.
Silva’s brilliant performances helped them stay up last season, however he is not finding things so easy in the new year.
The Brazil international has only featured in five of his club’s 13 games this season, with just one win coming in the games he has captained.
As he approaches the end of what has clearly been a sensational career, it is nice to know Chelsea still holds an important place in Silva’s heart.
