Social media platform X experienced intermittent outages, with users across the globe saying they could not access the service.
X wouldn’t load for users in the U.S., UK, France and India at two points early Monday, with outages lasting a few minutes apiece. More than 40,000 users in the U.S. reported issues to the monitoring website Down Detector.
Elon Musk, who bought X in 2022, didn’t mention the outage on his own account. He posted earlier on Monday that X is “the top source for news on Earth.” A representative for X didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
