NFL free agency kicks off on March 10, and many players are already predicted to play for different teams in 2025.
A key player for the Denver Broncos is no exemption for this list, and the move may be a win-win for both sides.
The 33rd Team sees Broncos starting running back Javonte Williams as one of the top players in his position available in free agency, making it a good reason to spur interest from other teams.
The outlet predicts Williams will move on from Denver and sign with the Minnesota Vikings - who are also predicted to move on from their running back in Aaron Jones.
The 33rd Team analyzed the 25-year-old Williams as a player who didn't live up to his second-round pick expectations for the Broncos, pointing out that the team's "limited" offensive line failed to provide efficient running lanes for the player throughout the 2024 season.
With the Vikings, the 33rd Team claimed Williams could thrive in his role because he would have a "better offensive line" and be part of a team that plays with a zone-based scheme, which suits his skillset.
Minnesota head coach Kevin O'Connell is no stranger to running a play-action-heavy offense, leading to The 33rd Team saying Williams will also flash as a pass-catcher for the Vikings. However, the outlets also advise Minnesota to draft a rookie running back to relieve the workload for Williams.
The door is not closed for Williams to return to Denver.
Speaking at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, Broncos general manager George Paton said, "there's a chance" the team brings him back. However, head coach Sean Payton previously said he's looking for a "joker" in that position for his team.
Williams finished the 2024 season with 513 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 139 carries. He split time in the backfield with Jaleel McLaughlin.
