Well, that wasn’t good.
That wasn’t good at all.
In fact, it was pretty much the opposite of good.
So basically, Juventus’ 4-0 loss to Atalanta on Sunday night was downright terrible.
Over the course of the last month, Juventus and Thiago Motta have had some absolute stinkers, which has resulted the elimination in both the Champions League and Coppa Italia. But in Serie A, a season-best winning streak had suddenly come about, and moved Juve within six points of the league lead.
That all went up in smoke against Atalanta, who entered the night three points ahead of Juventus in third place. And any lingering Scudetto hopes were gone, too, as Juve suffered their worst home lost in 58 years.
Downright terrible seems about right — or maybe even a little bit of understatement.
Yet we talked about it. Or we at least tried to.
