Olga Carmona and Linda Caicedo received their FIFPRO Women’s World 11 trophies on Monday after being named in the 2024 players' team of the year in December.

A record-breaking 7,000 women’s football players voted for their World 11. It is the only global player award decided exclusively by footballers.

The Real Madrid duo were presented the newly redesigned World 11 trophies by Spanish player union president David Aganzo, FIFPRO's Director of Union and Player Relations Benjamin van den Broek and FIFPRO's Union and Player Relations Officer Paola Lopez Yrigoyen.

A trophy that truly celebrates the collective

Caicedo and Carmona were presented with the new-look World 11 trophy that truly captures the collective spirit of the World 11.

Each individual trophy is an elegant representation of the number ‘1’, symbolising that each player is, in the eyes of their peers, the best in their position on the pitch. When all 11 trophies come together, they form a larger prize representing the entire World 11—celebrating the power of the team.

Designed by the award-winning studio xCruza at their Argentinian base, the trophies when gathered form an Abrazo de Gol (Goal Hug) embodying the essence of football: a single gesture where the team's spirit merges.
