'All depends on'... Fabrizio Romano shares what needs to happen for Everton to sign £25m striker

Everton are in the market for a striker this summer transfer window.

David Moyes wanted to sign a forward in January, however, Everton were still restricted by PSR issues which have plagued the club in recent years.

Come the summer, though, those financial concerns are set to clear and the Friedkin Group are planning to give Moyes a substantial budget.

With the window due to open in June, Everton chiefs have been drawing up a list of targets behind the scenes.

One of their rumoured targets is believed to be Rangers striker Hamza Igamane, who is valued at around £25m.

Everton are also considering Tammy Abraham and now Fabrizio Romano has shared what needs to happen for that deal to go through.

Tammy Abraham’s future rests in AC Milan’s hands

Fabrizio Romano, writing in his GiveMeSport newsletter, revealed that Tammy Abraham’s future all depends on what AC Milan decide to do after his loan deal.

“It’s a possibility (returning to England), but all depends on Milan now,” Romano wrote.

“They must decide whether they want to keep him from Roma or let him go back to the club, and it will be up to the new director they’re about to appoint soon.”

If Milan decide against making his loan move permanent, then Everton will be one of the favourites to land his signature you’d imagine.

With the Friedkin’s willing to invest heavily into the squad, Abraham will surely be tempted by the project at Goodison.

West Ham United and Newcastle also interested in Abraham

Everton are facing stiff competition for Abraham’s signature this summer.

West Ham United and Newcastle are in talks with Abraham’s representatives whilst Wolves and Nottingham Forest are also keeping tabs.

It’s thought a return to the Premier League is likely, so there’s set to be a five-club battle to bring the former Chelsea man back to England.

Moyes has a brilliant track record of developing strikers, as evinced by Beto at the moment, so perhaps the Scotsman will be able to convince him to join over their rivals.

Abraham is valued at around £25m.
