Arne Slot confirms major Liverpool boost as PSG 'confident' of Anfield upset

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has confirmed that Cody Gakpo will be available for the visit of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night. The Netherlands forward missed his side’s Premier League clash with Southampton on Saturday due to a muscle problem.

Liverpool will be aiming to secure their safe passage through to the Champions League quarter-finals when they take on PSG at Anfield. The Reds were dominated by their French opponents during the first leg of their last-16 showdown at the Parc des Princes last week. But Slot’s men somehow came away with a 1-0 victory after Harvey Elliott came off the bench and fired in the winner in the closing stages with his first touch.
