Mo Salah may have his eyes on this year’s Ballon d’Or after his incredible form in the Premier League with Liverpool, but he won’t be crowned the best player in the world if he repeats his anonymous performance against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
Jamie Carragher got into a bit of trouble recently for suggesting Salah’s hopes of being voted the best footballer on the planet are hampered because he is not playing in top international tournaments, but I’m not getting involved in that debate!
