The Denver Nuggets are looking for revenge on Monday night, as they are set to play the second-straight game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road.
In the baseball-style two-game series, the Nuggets are looking to bounce back after suffering a 127-103 loss. A late-game push by Oklahoma City made the box score look much worse than it actually was.
However, more important than the margin of victory was an injury to Nikola Jokic. Early in the contest, the Nuggets superstar took a tough fall, appearing to injure his elbow to an extent.
While Denver head coach Michael Malone claimed the elbow was fine, the injury report on Monday would tend to disagree.
In the contest, Jokic scored 24 points in the 41 minutes he logged, shooting 10-of-23 from the field while being a minus-13 in the box score.
His jump shot seemed to be bothered by an elbow injury, regardless of what Malone said.

Jokic's injury status before Nuggets-Thunder
Before the contest, Jokic is listed as questionable with both an elbow and ankle injury. Don't be shocked if the Serbian superstar tries to play in the contest, however.
The club may opt to hold Jokic out of the game, letting him get healthier while getting a bit of rest after playing 41 minutes on Sunday afternoon.
Like Jokic, Denver star guard Jamal Murray is listed as questionable for the contest, with the team having already ruled Aaron Gordon out for the game.
A shorthanded Nuggets team is going to struggle on the second night of a back-to-back against a Thunder team with a plethora of depth.
