The Washington Commanders lost their first free agent during the NFL’s legal tampering period. Wide receiver Dyami Brown was expected to have a market after Jayden Daniels increased his value on before a thin free agent class. He had been a disappointment since being taken in the third round of the 2021 draft, but had his best season before he entered free agency. Washington was expected to be interested, but the former North Carolina WR was expected to get more interest than Adam Peters was going to be comfortable matching. Brown will reportedly head south to the Jacksonville Jaguars on a 1-year, $10 million contract worth up to $12 million with incentives.
