The Denver Broncos have a lot to be excited about moving forward after rookie quarterback Bo Nix hit his stride in the second half of the season under the tutelage of head coach Sean Payton.
The Broncos are now focused on making sure the rest of the roster around Nix is where it needs to be so that the team can continue to ascend as he develops. On Monday, Denver took a massive step in the right direction, bringing in a veteran presence and former All-Pro, according to one prominent league insider.
“Sources:#Broncos are finalizing an agreement with former#49ers All Pro safety Talanoa Hufanga,” reported CBS Sports’ Jordan Schultz on Monday.

“He’s going to one of the best FA signings. I was praying DC would sign him since AP had worked with him before. When healthy, this dude is a cold monster!” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Bro was a DPOY candidate before he got injured. This could take our defense to elite stat,” one fan added.
“Best thing about this free agency is that the 49ers have fallen apart,” someone else wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see who else the Broncos bring in as free agency unfolds.
