Uzbekistan, Belarus consider prospects for cooperation in education
AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Uzbekistan Rakhmatilla Nazarov met with Minister of Education of Belarus Andrei Ivanets, UzA reported.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the implementation of agreements in preschool and school education reached during the official visit of the President of Belarus to Uzbekistan on February 7-9, 2024. Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing joint efforts in this direction.
Andrei Ivanets expressed readiness to continue discussions of the points outlined in the roadmap (jointly with Uzbekistan's Ministry of Preschool and School Education) and the Cooperation Program (jointly with Uzbekistan's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations) in the educational sphere.
The parties also discussed progress on implementing joint educational programs based on the "2+2" format in fields of study that are most in demand in Uzbekistan.
