The Golden State Warriors will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night at the Chase Center as they look to continue their winning streak.
Golden State enters Monday's game having won their last four games and nine of their last 10 matchup. They have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA as they have climbed to sixth in the Western Conference standings.
On the other side, the Trail Blazers have struggled recently after their hot streak. Portland has lost three consecutive games and they will have another tough matchup against Golden State on Monday.
Of course, the Warriors will look to continue their winning ways on Monday with their star due of Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler leading the way, but Curry could also make another piece of NBA history.
Entering Monday's matchup, Curry sits just seven three-point makes away from reaching 4,000 career three-pointers made in the regular season during his career. When he does so, Curry will become the first player in NBA history to reach 4,000 career threes made in the regular season.

Of course, Curry is recognized as the best three-point shooter in NBA history as his 3,993 career threes are 873 more than James Harden who ranks second in NBA history with 3,120 career made threes in the regular season.
While seven three-pointers is a large number for any player to hit in an NBA game, Curry has made it look routine during his future Hall of Fame career, and he should have a chance to reach 4,000 made threes on Monday at home against Portland.
If Curry is unable to reach the incredible feat on Monday against the Trail Blazers, he will have another opportunity to reach it on Thursday in front of a national audience when the Warriors host the Sacramento Kings on TNT.
Fans can catch Monday's game between the Warriors and Trail Blazers at 10:00 p.m. EST and they may see history be made if Curry is able to knock down seven threes in game.
