Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has provided some good news on the injury front ahead of the European clash against Real Sociedad.
The Red Devils shared the spoils against Arsenal in the Premier League yesterday. They were without the services of Manuel Ugarte for the second-straight game due to an unknown injury.
Speaking after the 1-1 draw, Amorim highlighted that Ugarte has made good progress in his recovery and he could be involved in the second leg of the Europa League round of 16 in midweek.
United played out a 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad on the road last week and they must beat the Spanish outfit on Thursday to face either FCSB or Lyon in the last eight of the elite competition.
While Ugarte could make a timely comeback, there are doubts whether Leny Yoro will feature in central defence after picking up a foot injury in the opening half against the Gunners on Sunday.
The Lille graduate will be assessed ahead of the encounter.
