Giants agree to terms on new deal with WR Darius Slayton

With 740 yards as a rookie, 751 in 2020, 724 in 2022, and 770 in 2023, Slayton is the only receiver in Giants history to lead the team in receiving yards in four of his first five seasons.

On the Giants' all-time lists, Slayton ranks 17th in receptions, 18th in receiving yards, and tied for 22nd in touchdown catches.

In 2019, Slayton had one of the finest seasons by a rookie wide receiver in Giants history. He led the team with 740 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, which tied him with Tennessee's A.J. Brown for the highest total among NFL rookies. Slayton's final touchdown that year was a significant milestone in Giants history. It was the 366th and final touchdown pass of Eli Manning's 16-year career.

Slayton was the Giants' nominee for the 2024 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which recognizes an NFL player for outstanding community service activities off the field as well as excellence on the field.

Prior to the NFL, Slayton played in 38 games at Auburn and caught 79 passes for 1,605 yards (20.3-yard average) and 11 touchdowns, with a long catch of 74 yards.
