It remains to be, exactly, where that depth will be utilized, though. The Bills on Monday agreed to a three-year contact with Michael Hoecht, an unrestricted free agent from the Los Angeles Rams. Hoecht, 27, joined the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Brown in 2020. He spent that season on their practice squad before making the 53-man roster in 2021.
He has played both defensive line and linebacker for the Rams. He's listed on the Rams' website at 6-foot-4, 267 pounds, but depending on where you look, he's been listed as much as 310 pounds at other times in his career.
For his career, he has 180 tackles and 13.5 sacks in 68 games, with 31 starts.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
