“Hypocrisy” Eagles Fans Erupt Over White House / Donald Trump Decision (Report)

The Philadelphia Eagles have won the Super Bowl for the second time since 2017. This time, the win came over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Philadelphia was dominant from the very first quarter and never looked back en route to a 40-22 victory.

One of the great traditions of winning a pro championship is going to visit the White House afterward. This year, the Eagles have made their decision if they’re going to take part.

Following a President Trump invitation, the Philadelphia Eagles are planning a visit to the White House:

According to a report from John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Eagles have “accepted an invite to visit” President Trump at the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl 59 championship.

Clark added that a date has yet to be determined. But after weeks of conflicting reports about the Philadelphia Eagles deciding not to go, it appears Nick Sirianni’s squad is happy to attend after all.

In 2018, President Trump rescinded the invitation to the White House for the Super Bowl 52 champion Eagles after several players stated they would not attend. Unlike most other NFL owners, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie has also been a vocal critic of Trump.
