Sunderland are bracing to field offers for Jobe Bellingham if they are not promoted this season, sources have told Football Insider.

The 19-year-old is just one of several talented young players on the books at the Stadium of Light.

It is believed Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are the front-runners in the race for Bellingham’s signature in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham and Crystal Palace scouts have also been keeping tabs on the England Under-21 international.

The interest is no surprise to Sunderland – who will be forced to consider big-money offers if they do not ascend to the Premier League.

Chelsea face £250m hit after crushing blow

Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed that Chelsea’s operating losses could have increased to around £250million last season.

Deloitte’s 2025 Money League revealed Chelsea’s overall revenue fell from £513million in 2022-23 to £469million last season.

However, the Blues already know they avoided a spending breach for 2023-24 after the Premier League didn’t hand out charges to any clubs.
