Wizards Rookie Matches Kobe Bryant, Luka Doncic With NBA Milestone

Washington Wizards' Carlton ‘Bub' Carrington has reached an epic milestone, joining Kobe Bryant and Luka Doncic as one of the best youngsters in history.

In the Wizards' game against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, Carrington became one of three players with over 250 assists and over 100 3-pointers before turning 20 years old. Carrington dished out five assists in their 104-119 loss at Toronto and knocked down one 3-pointer across 26 minutes of play.

Apart from joining Doncic and Bryant, Bub also forged his name in Wizards history as the second-fastest (62 games) Wizards rookie to reach 100 three-pointers. Bradley Beal claimed the record when he knocked down 100 3-point bombs in 60 games in the 2012-13 NBA season.

Carrington was the 14th overall pick of the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2024 NBA Draft. He was later traded, alongside Malcolm Brogdon, to the Washington Wizards for Deni Avdija.
