Thomas Tuchel watched the West Ham vs Newcastle clash from the stands on Monday night alongside Mark Noble.
England manager Thomas Tuchel is a very busy man right now, and watching the West Ham vs Newcastle game was his latest task.
Mark Noble was sat alongside the former Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund boss in the stands.
The game itself was a tough watch, and Tuchel wouldn’t have been overly impressed with what he saw.
Graham Potter spoke to reporters after the game and suggested that West Ham were really unlucky to lose to Newcastle.

I’m not sure I agree with that – the performance from West Ham lacked any kind of real impetus or incisiveness inside the final third.
So what would Tuchel have been thinking after leaving the London Stadium?

The German has a lot of pressure on his shoulders as England boss.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
The country has been starved of success, and by the time the 2026 World Cup begins, it would have been an incredible 60 years since we won a major trophy!
Tuchel’s remit will be to change all of that.
With 27 minutes on the clock, the cameras panned to the London Stadium stands and captured Tuchel deep in conversation with Hammers Sporting Director Mark Noble.
The question on the West Ham fans’ lips was, ,what were they discussing?’.

There was plenty of English talent on display for both teams.
And Tuchel would have had his eye on four West Ham players in particular.
Four West Ham players Thomas Tuchel was looking at
Jarrod Bowen is the obvious one, and Tuchel will surely have him as part of his plans during the World Cup qualifying process.
However, there were three others playing for us against Newcastle who Tuchel would have had his eye on.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Max Kilman have been mooted for call-ups to the Three Lions squad, whilst Ollie Scarles is said to be drawing attention from the English FA scouting network.
I fully expect Wan-Bissaka to get a call-up, but it’s probably too early for Scarles, whilst there are question marks over Kilman’s head regarding whether he’s good enough to play international football.
Thomas Tuchel has a very easy decision to make and that is calling up Jarrod Bowen and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to his England squad.
The German must have been impressed every time he’s watched the two West Ham stars in action this season.
