BBC Sport pundit Troy Deeney has named an “unbelievable” Manchester United star in his Premier League Team of the Week after the 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim’s men are 14th in the Premier League table after picking up their latest point, despite coming close to snatching all three points on the weekend.
The Red Devils are level on points with 13th-place Tottenham and Ruben Amorim’s side are now comfortably 17 points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
Manchester United and Arsenal played out a 1-1 scoreline at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils breaking the deadlock in the first half through Bruno Fernandes.
The Red Devils earned a free-kick in first-half stoppage time and Bruno Fernandes stepped up and the United captain smashed a stunning strike past David Raya.
Arsenal climbed back into the contest in the second half after Declan Rice’s superb curling strike beat Andre Onana and pulled Arsenal level against United.
United had clear chances to restore their lead over the Gunners in the second half, but a stunning performance from David Raya kept Arsenal in the contest on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta’s men are second in the Premier League and are now 15 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool after dropping valuable points at Old Trafford.

What Troy Deeney spotted from Bruno Fernandes in Man Utd vs Arsenal
Bruno Fernandes was once again the difference-maker for Manchester United in the 1-1 draw with Premier League rivals Arsenal on Sunday evening.
The 30-year-old United star once again silenced his critics with his impact against the Gunners and showed his importance to Ruben Amorim’s first-team squad.
Troy Deeney admitted that he has been “critical” of Fernandes in the past, but the BBC Sport pundit has now waxed lyrical about the United captain’s influence.
The former Watford and Walsall striker added that Fernandes must remain at Old Trafford if United “aspire” to be a top side in the Premier League again.
“I have been critical of Fernandes over the years,” Deeney told BBC Sport.
“He is the type of person that got away with it when the team were poor under Erik ten Hag.
“Since the new manager has come in, he has shown a completely new level of character.
“If Manchester United want to get to where they aspire to be, then they need this guy.
“They cannot get rid of him. It was also [an] unbelievable technique for the free-kick.”

Why Troy Deeney included Declan Rice in his Premier League Team of the Week
Joining Fernandes in Deeney’s BBC Sport Premier League of the Week is none other than Declan Rice, who made his own mark on the proceedings at Old Trafford.
Speaking on the Arsenal and England midfielder, Deeney said: “People gave him stick for celebrating his equaliser against Manchester United.
“When he doesn’t score people say he doesn’t score enough – but when he does he gets stick for celebrating!
“He is growing into a really talented ‘number eight.’ Especially as Arsenal don’t have a number nine, he runs into great pockets and got beyond the attackers for his goal.”
United are back in action on Thursday evening when they host Real Sociedad for their second-leg round-of-16 showdown in the Europa League at Old Trafford.
