West Ham have one fixture remaining until the international break, when several players are expected to depart to represent their country.
West Ham have enjoyed a turnaround since Graham Potter’s appointment, though the recent defeat to Newcastle certainly dampened the mood at the London Stadium.
However, throughout that period, several players have stepped up to the occasion and showcased their ability consistently, with one particular player surely in line for an England call-up for the first time since 2019.

England call-up beckons for West Ham defender
While some of the focus has been on the return to form of Aaron Cresswell, the main spotlight remains on Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has been phenomenal since arriving at the London Stadium.
His ability to turn defence into attack has been crucial in the newly adopted formation by Potter, and his defensive prowess has subdued opposition threat in every encounter this season.

Quite frankly, Wan-Bissaka has been one of the best performers at West Ham throughout what has been a fairly troubled campaign, and Thomas Tuchel simply has to reward that form with a call-up.

Wan-Bissaka has been exceptional this season
Especially given the regression of Kyle Walker, England aren’t blessed with many options at right back, and Wan-Bissaka offers a completely different dimension to the team.
Of course, it’s unlikely that he would be the only Hammer to represent England, with Jarrod Bowen also in line for a call-up after his displays throughout the season.

Tuchel has easy decision to make on Wan-Bissaka
In just about every league encounter this season, Wan-Bissaka has prevailed with plenty of praise, and it is a testament to his ability.
Very few wingers have been able to get the better of the 27-year-old, while very few full-backs have been able to stop his driving runs forward.
While he is typically known for his defensive ability, Wan-Bissaka has chipped in with four goal contributions for the Irons this season, and he will provide Tuchel with one of the easiest decisions he is likely to make ahead of the international break.
