Despite his agent’s denials, Sandro Tonali has constantly been linked with an exit from Newcastle United.
Juventus have been mentioned as a candidate to land the midfielder in recent weeks. Confidence is now growing in Italy that the Old Lady will make a move for Tonali in the summer transfer window.
Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Juventus are looking to bolster their midfield and they will look to use Douglas Luiz to land the Newcastle United star.
The outlet states that the Italian giants tried to sell the Brazilian in January and attempts will be made again in the summer.
They are counting on the Brazilian’s ‘glorious Premier League past’ to reduce Newcastle United’s asking price for Tonali, who has been described as one of Juventus’ important targets for July.
Something similar was reported by Corriere dello Sport some weeks ago, when the 24-year-old was front-page news.
As of now, it isn’t known how much the Magpies could demand for Tonali and that could be where Juventus’ dreams end, especially if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
