Manchester United have officially revealed images of their proposed 100,000-seater stadium.
It marks a huge step in the start of a major regeneration project in the Old Trafford area.
The club confirmed the plans in an official statement on club website, detailing the economic and social impact of the project.
Project which in fact, could generate £7.3 billion annually for the UK economy and create up to 92,000 new jobs.
The design, created by Foster + Partners, was unveiled alongside conceptual images and scaled models of the stadium district.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who recently acquired a minority stake in the club, described the new stadium as a “state-of-the-art” venue.
One that will transform the fan experience while preserving the essence of Old Trafford.
He emphasised that the project aligns with the Government’s focus on infrastructure investment, particularly in the north of England.
Omar Berrada, United’s CEO, reinforced the club’s ambition to create “the world’s best stadium.”
He confirmed that thousands of fans and local residents had been consulted before deciding on a new build.
Further consultation will now take place before final decisions are made.

Legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson backed the project, stating: “We must be brave and seize this opportunity to build a new home.
“One that’s fit for the future, where new history can be made.”
Lord Norman Foster, the stadium’s architect, described the design as “one of the most exciting projects in the world today.”
Further highlighting features such as a vast roof structure to enhance acoustics and a new public plaza twice the size of Trafalgar Square.
With support from Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, and Lord Sebastian Coe, the stadium is being positioned as a transformational project for the region.
Potentially exceeding the impact of the London 2012 Olympics.
The club will now lead the next phase of development as they move towards finalising plans.
