Despite being shaken by the surprising news, George Kittle's wife expressed her deep gratitude for the opportunity to meet Kyle Juszczyk and his wife, Kristin Juszczyk, in 2017.

On Monday, the 49ers reportedly informed Kyle Juszczyk of his release, ending his eight years with the team.

The move allows the 49ers to save more than $2.9 million on their salary cap. Juszczyk was set to make $4.1 million with a "$6.5 million cap figure in the final season of a five-year contract," according to Reuters.
