Durham Women face a big North East Derby on Sunday, March 16 (12pm kick-off) against Newcastle United – and we’ve got a HUGE day planned!
It’s the first time we’ve met the Magpies in a competitive fixture on home soil, so this is history in the making!
And while there will be unmissable action on the pitch, we’re also making sure it’s a day supporters won’t forget off the field too!
Here’s what we’ve got planned for the fixture with Newcastle United:
Player meet and greets – you’ll be able to meet our players at the end of the game for autographs and selfies! Just head to the front of the stand at full-time.
FREE activities four fans of all ages – courtesy of Durham City Police, including…FREE inflatable hands for fans to make some noise with throughout the game (while stocks last)
Fun arts and crafts activities for our young supporters
The chance to try on some police uniform!
Food & Drink from Fat Frank’s Street Food & Twisted Chick – with a wide range of selection, plus we’ll also have Cafe Nero open serving a range of hot and cold food and drink throughout the afternoon. Twisted Chick will also be joining us for the first time serving up fresh and tasty buttermilk chicken!
NEW! Content Creator Challenge – We have an exciting new Content Creator Challenge for fans to take part in – read more about the challenge and how to enter here!
If U Care Share – local charity If U Care Share will be situated next to Cafe Nero throughout the afternoon, so make sure you pop and pay a visit to their stall
Half-time player interviews – we’ll be chatting with midfielder Dee Bradley during the half-time break. Keep your eyes on our social media for details of how to submit your questions for Dee later this weeK!
Plus the unmissable action on the field – there was late drama when the two teams met last season, and another exciting contest is in store!
