Liverpool will host Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield tonight in a highly anticipated Champions League last-16 second leg, with the Premier League leaders defending a slender 1-0 advantage from their first leg victory in Paris.
This European classic kicks off at 8 PM GMT (3 PM ET) as both teams battle for a place in the quarterfinals of Europe’s elite club competition.
Liverpool received good news when Dominik Szoboszlai was confirmed to have avoided injury despite being substituted early during their weekend victory over Southampton. Cody Gakpo has returned to availability after missing recent matches with an ankle issue.
However, the Reds will be without Tyler Morton, Conor Bradley, and Joe Gomez who remain sidelined.
PSG manager Luis Enrique appears to have the luxury of a full squad to choose from, having strategically rested several key players during their comfortable 4-1 weekend win at Rennes.
The French champions are expected to restore Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, and Gianluigi Donnarumma to their starting lineup after they were given reduced minutes or complete rest at the weekend.
