Jon Aramburu has been one of the breakout stars of La Liga this season. Following Hamari Traore’s injury, the Venezuelan took on the responsibility of a starting role at Real Sociedad and has proven to be an outstanding player.
Strong in defence and highly skilled in covering ground, the full-back has also shown great attacking capabilities in the right-back slot.
It is only natural that Aramburu has attracted the interest of many clubs. While no formal offer has been received, scouts from a number of European clubs have compiled extensive reports on the Real Sociedad defender, including Real Madrid.
Addressing the Real Madrid Rumours
Recently, Aramburu spoke on the Venezuelan podcast ‘Sale y se acaba’, where he was asked about a supposed interest from reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid.
“It is something that motivates me,” the full-back admitted, but he added that he must “stay away from the speculation.”

Aramburu also stated that he is not concerned about external talk because “what is said should not be a distraction.”
“My focus should not be on whether people on Twitter say that Madrid wants me, but on playing for Real Sociedad, my club, where I am happy and where I need to keep performing well,” the young defender clarified.
Many clubs are expected to compete for Jon Aramburu this summer, including Real Madrid’s arch-rivals Barcelona. But for now, he remains a Real Sociedad player, with a contract running until 2030.
Talking about his future, the 22-year-old said: **“If an offer arrives in the future, there will be time to discuss it. My agent will handle that,**” before emphasising that his “focus must remain on the pitch and not on outside speculation.”
