Earlier this month, Samsung unveiled two new Galaxy A-series smartphones, the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A36. On the same day, the brand launched them in a few countries. One of them was India. Well, now, almost a week and a half later, Samsung has made the two devices available to purchase in the country.
The Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A36 have gone on sale in India today. You can purchase them from Amazon, Flipkart, and authorised offline and online stores across the country. Weirdly, Samsung hasn’t made them available to purchase on its official website for the country and on the Samsung Shop app yet.
Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 price and availability details for India
The Galaxy A36 costs INR 32,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, INR 35,999 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and INR 38,999 for 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A56 costs INR 41,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, INR 44,999 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and INR 47,999 for 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.
Considering the features the two phones offer, which you can check out here, the opinion of the majority of people in India is that they cost a lot. That being said, we have seen Samsung drastically drop prices of mid-range smartphones a few months after it launches them. If the company does the same with the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A36, they may become more lucrative to people.
It is worth pointing out that Galaxy M55 costs way less than Galaxy A36 and offers almost the same features. Similarly, the Galaxy S24 FE costs almost the same as the Galaxy A56 but offers much better specifications.
