Liverpool, Newcastle, Crystal Palace, and Everton are all interested in acquiring the services of Nordsjaelland sensation Sindre Walle Egeli.
Norwegian attacking sensation Sindre Walle Egeli’s impressive rise has put him on the wishlist of multiple top clubs in England. According to a report from Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, and Everton are all monitoring him ahead of a potential move next summer.
Walle Egeli joined Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2022, and he has only gone from strength to strength since. The teenage sensation got promoted to the Dutch club’s first team at the start of 2024, and he has not looked back since.
Despite being just 18, he has been one of their standout performers in the ongoing season. The teenager has 11 goal contributions in his 23 outings. While he prefers playing on the right flank, he is equally good on the left wing as well.
Sindre Walle Egeli’s impressive performances have attracted a lot of attention from across Europe. While his contract at the Danish club runs until the summer of 2028, they will struggle to hold onto him for long.
Premier League clubs to battle for Walle Egeli
Newcastle United are one of the clubs that are keen on signing the teenager, who has likened his style of play to Arjen Robben. The Magpies are constantly on the lookout for players who can help them in the long run as they look to establish themselves as a top club in England.
They feel Sindre Walle Egeli could add much needed depth on the flanks and in the long run, he could be one of their mainstays. They have been doing regular checks on the Norwegian forward, who has been on fire since the turn of the calendar.
While the Tyneside club are keen on his signature, they are not the only English club that have been monitoring him. Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Everton are all keeping a close eye on him as they gear up for a bidding war.
The Reds see him as an ideal long-term replacement of Mohamed Salah, while the Eagles and Everton feel he could bolster their squad in the short as well as the long run. With all four English clubs scouting him this season, it will be intriguing to see which team wins the race for his signature.
