Chelsea turn their attention to young Dutch forward

Chelsea are showing interest in young Dutch forward right now. The player has been very impressive this season and has already crossed double figures in terms of scoring.

The Blues are set to sign a new striker this summer. They tried to sign Osimhen last summer but the deal failed. This formed them to stay with Nicolas Jackson as main striker. Jackson did perform well at start, but has been out-of-form recently.

Jackson has been injured since a month now. In addition, his backup Marc Guiu has also been injured which has caused Maresca to feel a void up front. The Blues have many names linked with the club as new striker.

As of now, Liam Delap is the top target of the West London club. But, they are also keeping open eye on other options available. They want a young striker who along with acting as backup, can compete for starting spot with Jackson.

Chelsea linked with 11 goal Ligue 1 striker

According to Caught Offside, the Blues are showing interest in Emanuel Emegha. He is 22 year old striker who currently plays for Strasbourg. Chelsea view him as ideal player in their future plans.

Emegha has scored 11 goals and picked 2 assists in 20 Ligue 1 games this season. He has represented Netherlands on youth stage but is yet to make debut for first-team. Strasbourg are happy with him but can make him available in market.

Chelsea will have lead to land Emegha due to Strasbourg being their sister club. But, it will still require €22 million to €25 million as per the report. The Blues can surely manage to spend this amount and it will be interesting to see if they step-up their interest in coming weeks. Convincing the player will be very easy as playing in Premier League will be a big step-up in his career.
