Manchester United may have dropped a hint as to which players may be crucial to the club's long-term future.
United announced on Tuesday plans for the club's new stadium as part of the Old Trafford regeneration project. A new 100,000-seater stadium has been proposed by the club, which would replace United's historic home on the same site.
A target date of 2030 has been set for when United will hope to have the new stadium completed. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos have worked with architect Lord Norman Foster, who has produced several concept designs for what the new stadium will look like.
The images and designs are featured on a two-minute video which was posted by United across their social media channels. The video charts United's history at Old Trafford before looking ahead to the future at their new home.
The video also offers hints as to the players that may be part of United's long-term future. Amad is spotted several times through the video, including one moment where the phrase "a future to be written" is used.
Amad is not the only player to feature in the video, indicating that United have several members of the squad in mind to build the future of the club around. Alejandro Garnacho, Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte, Lisandro Martinez and Chido Obi all make appearances in the preview video for the new stadium.
The Manchester Evening News have reported that United anticipate the new stadium will cost around £2billion. United have lost £300million over the last three seasons, with Ratcliffe and Ineos overseeing cost-cutting measures since taking charge of footballing operations at the club last year.
