Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly showing interest in 21-year-old Brazilian full-back sensation Wesley Franca.
According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Matheus Franca in action recently, and it will be interesting to see if they follow up on their interest with an official offer to sign the player.
The Brazilian defender is valued at £25 million at Flamengo, and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for all three clubs. So, it is hardly surprising that the highly-rated full-back has emerged as a viable target for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
Arsenal have done well to improve their squad in recent windows, but they could still use a quality right-back. The Gunners have had to use players like Ben White and Jurrien Timber in that position, but the duo is more suited to the role of a central defender.
Wesley Franca would be a quality acquisition, and he could sort out their right back position for the foreseeable future. Meanwhile, Chelsea could use more depth in the right-back slot as well. Reece James has had his fair share of injury problems, and the Blues need more depth in the squad despite Malo Gusto’s exploits.

Liverpool keen on Wesley as Alexander-Arnold replacement
Liverpool are keeping tabs on Wesley Franca as well. It is no surprise that they are looking at the 21-year-old Brazilian defender. Trent Alexander-Arnold has been linked with an exit from the club when his contract expires. The Englishman has not signed an extension with Liverpool yet, and the Reds will have to find a quality replacement.
The Brazilian full-back sensation has the quality to improve all three clubs, and he would be an exceptional long term investment. He could easily justify the £25 million asking price in the coming seasons if he manages to adapt to English football quickly. The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be attractive for the player as well. It remains to be seen where he ends up.
