The Denver Broncos have already agreed to terms with former San Francisco 49ers defenders Dre Greenlaw and Talanoa Hufanga, but they may not be done on that side of the ball. According to Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette, the Broncos have "expressed interest" in signing veteran Denzel Perryman.
With the #Broncos needing an inside linebacker, sources say they have expressed interest in Denzel Perryman. He is entering his 11th season and is 32 but still could be a good addition. He made the Pro Bowl in 2021 with Raiders and played last season with Chargers.

Perryman played in 11 games in 2024, totaling 55 tackles and a single sack. For his career, he has 717 total tackles, 7.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and five interceptions.
Perryman's best season came way back in 2021 with the Las Vegas Raiders. Perryman had a career-high 154 tackles (102 solo), one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. He was named to his first and only Pro Bowl.
Entering his 11th season, Perryman's best days are clearly behind him. As long as he's used as a rotational piece, he could add a nice veteran presence to the linebacker room.
Even with Denver prioritizing extensions with defensive lineman Zach Allen and linebacker Nik Bonitto, they're still adding talent to their roster. Just look at what they've done today.
Denver has added Greenlaw (three-year, $35 million) and Hufanga (three-year, up to $45 million) today to an already stout defense on day one of free agency. Greenlaw will fill the hole in the middle left by the departing Cody Barton, but they could still use some depth at the position.
At this point in his career, Perryman is holding on to his NFL career. Greenlaw's signing shouldn't slow down his interest in Denver. However, it might slow down Denver's interest in him.
