Billy Joel has rescheduled his summer UK shows.
The Piano Man was due to headline Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield on June 7, marking his first time playing the Scottish capital for 46 years, and Anfield Stadium on June 21, his first show in Liverpool for 45 years.
However, due to a medical condition the concerts will now take place in 2026, on June 6 in Edinburgh and June 20 in Liverpool. Joel has also had to move some upcoming solo US dates, as well as co-headline shows with Sting and Stevie Nicks. Check out the poster below for those.
All original tickets remain valid, and those unable to make the new dates can get a refund from their point of purchase.
A full statement from his press team reads: "Billy Joel’s upcoming concert dates will be rescheduled due to a medical condition. The current tour will be postponed for four months to allow him to recover from recent surgery and to undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors. Joel is expected to make a full recovery. The tour will resume at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5, 2025."
Joel added: “While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”
