Javon Hargrave agrees to a deal with the Vikings, joining another former Eagles defender there. Meanwhile, one of Philly's reserve LBs from last season may be headed to Cincy.

This may sound arrogant in its statement, but we just don't fear the rival New York Giants, and we don't believe the Philadelphia Eagles should either. We believe the Dallas Cowboys will always underachieve as long as Jerry Jones is there. That's not even the whole story.
Are you ready for this? We've seen the recent moves made by the Washington Commanders, and we aren't frightened that they closed the gap witnessed last season.
Call us crazy. We've paid more attention to the Minnesota Vikings, and that isn't just because they've added former Eagles.
NFL free agency: Former Eagle Javon Hargrave joins Isaiah Rodgers in Minnesota.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the legal tampering period began, one move mentioned didn't get as much attention around the rest of the country as it did in Philly's fan base. Isaiah Rodgers was one of those guys we wondered about.
Might he stay? Might he leave? As it turns out, he was allowed to walk. [He joins the Minnesota Vikings on a two-year deal](https://insidetheiggles.com/eagles-defender-leaves-philly-nest-to-sign-with-another-nfc-contender).
Another former Eagle, Javon Hargrave, will join him there. He spent the past two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. Last year was cut short because of a torn triceps injury. His new deal with the Vikes becomes official at 4 p.m. EST on March 12, the first day of the new league year.
Minnesota is following that tried and true strategy we've seen from the Eagles time and time again. They've beefed up the trenches by also adding Will Fries, Jonathan Allen, and Ryan Kelly.
Philly's offense will certainly look different next season as the exodus continues. [Another starter is gone, C.J. Gardner-Johnson](https://insidetheiggles.com/cue-sydney-brown-hype-reels-cj-gardner-johnson-to-leave-eagles-in-trade), but another reserve figures to move on too.
More NFL free agency news: Oren Burks is expected to finalize a deal with the Bengals.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oren Burks was one of the nice surprises last season, filling in at linebacker when needed and doing so admirably. He started two of Philly's 17 games during the regular season, notching 41 tackles and two forced fumbles.
Stellar play continued into the postseason. He started three of the four games, collecting 25 tackles, a sack, a pass breakup, and two more forced fumbles.
He has agreed to a two-year deal that will pay him $5 million. As is the case with all others, that contract becomes official on Wednesday.
