Andrew “Andy” Musgrave (born 6 March 1990) is a British cross-country skier. He has competed in the World Cup since 2008. He represented Great Britain at the 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025 Nordic World Ski Championships. He also participated in the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics. Musgrave was born in Poole, Dorset, England. His father worked in the oil industry, and his family lived all over the world due to his employment. The family left Dorset when Andrew was one year old. He has since lived in Shetland, Alaska, Aberdeenshire, and Norway.

Andrew Musgrave competed in the 2025 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. He ended 6th in the 50km cross country race. His older sister, Posy Musgrave was also a cross country skier, competing in the 2014 Sorchi Olympics.

Andrew Musgrave lives in Norway and competes for Roa. Roa is a sports club based in Oslo. They are best known for their Women football team, who competes at the highest league level. Roa Women are league and cup winners. He has once been Norwegian Champion. He won the team sprint while partnering with Martin Johnsrud Sundby. Back in 2014, he became an individual champion by winning the sprint. However, he never received a medal because he is not a Norwegian citizen. When competing in the Roa team with Johnsrud Sundby, he received his medal. The team could have a foreign competitor.

Roa and Poole are landmarks in the life of Andrew Musgrave. Being born in Poole and having such a long relationship with Roa. He moved to Norway as a young boy and has lived in this country for 23 years. Andrew Musgrave is 35 years old. He just finished the 2025 World Cup competition. He has set his eye on next year’s Olympics in Italy. It will be his 5th Olympics. A fourth place in the 50km mass start in 2017 is his best World Championship result so far. That narrow miss from the podium is the best-ever result for a British Nordic skier.

Great Britain also have other cross country skiers to call on. Andrew Young, James Clugnet and Gabriel Gledhill were the three others on the 50km team. They have taken the British team under their wing. Musgrave believes that is very important. Norway is the dominant nation in the sport. They are keen to involve more nations. They also want to support smaller nations to develop the sport.

The Roa reference would bring us over to football. Naturally, we would have an eye on the home town of Andrew Musgrave. Poole Town FC is currently playing in the 7th tier of English football. It is a non-league club with a life in the lower tiers. Yet, it still has a few FA Cup memories to look back on. Poole Town Football Club is based in Poole, Dorset, England. They currently compete in the Southern League Premier Division South. This is Step 3 of non-league, to be seen as the 7th tier of English football. The club was established in 1880. They affiliated with the Dorset County Football Association. They are a Football Association (FA) Charter Standard Community Club. The team spent two seasons in the National League South before relegation in 2018.
