**Liverpool and Newcastle United will meet at Wembley on Sunday afternoon to play for the Carabao Cup trophy in a 4:30pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.**
While the fan rivalry will be fierce on the day, two of the most prominent supporters groups from each club - Liverpool's Spirit of Shankly and the Newcastle United Supporters' Trust have banded together to protest the way that ticketing has been handled ahead of the cup final.
The co-signed letter was posted to X via Spirit of Shankly and in it they raise some huge points of concern as Sunday's game approaches.
While even the letter acknowledges that it's too late for any action to be taken now, it's about transparency going forward and a hope that future fans aren't treated so poorly.

The letter highlights just how much fans are being pushed out of the game by corporate greed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The letter raises many points, but a couple of the key takeaways are, obviously, price, with ticket prices increasing year on year for the same experience.
Ticket availability was another massive issue with both sets of fans handed an allocation of under 33,000 tickets each for a 90,000 seater stadium, meaning a third of all tickets will go to corporate hospitality rather than giving fans of the two teams playing for silverware a chance to witness history.
Finally, the third big point was that when tickets went on sale, fans didn't even know what time the game would kick off, ultimately finding out that it would be a 4:30pm kick off, making it difficult for a large portion fans to return home after the game.
We're not going to hold our breath for an adequate response
-----------------------------------------------------------
The letter ends with bullet-pointed issues that both supporter groups would like to have answers to and fixes in place ahead of next season's final to avoid other fanbases being hit with more price hikes and being treated like second-class citizens.
We'll not hold our breath for any kind of response. Certainly not one that will be satisfactory.
Once again, it just highlights how fans are viewed by those in charge. We are just little money-carrying ants and our lives don't matter as long as that money keeps coming in, and they know that each ant will be replaced instantly.
