Lula on Trump: "No Use Shouting, I'm Not Afraid of an Angry Face"

President Lula (PT) said this Tuesday (11) that he wants to be respected in international discussions and that there's no use in U.S. President Donald Trump shouting.

"There's no point in Trump shouting from over there because I learned not to be afraid of an angry face. Speak softly to me, speak respectfully to me, because I learned to respect and I want to be respected," the president said at an event hosted by automaker Stellantis in Betim (MG).

At another event in Minas Gerais last week, during a visit to an MST (Landless Workers’ Movement) camp, Lula criticized businessman Elon Musk, a Trump ally, without mentioning him directly.
