Manchester United have lost another two members of senior staff only days after the announcement that a trio of executives are set to leave in the summer.

The executives leaving the club are Annie Hale, the people and transformation director responsible for delivering the latest round of redundancies; James Holroyd, the chief commercial development officer; and Florence Lafaye, the London-based commercial director.

Whilst Hale is the individual leading on the second wave of redundancies at the club, United were keen to express that the three are leaving on their own account rather than being included in the redundancies.

However, now two more key figures at the club are set to beat them to leave, with the duo already having quit.

Manchester United lose two senior members of medical staff

The Daily Mail has reported that the pair is made up of head of sports medicine Gary O’Driscoll and senior men’s first-team doctor Jim Moxon.

Whilst Moxon has been at the club for two years, O’Driscoll has only been in position for 18 months, with his departure coming as a bit of a shock.

The head of sports medicine joined from Arsenal after 14 years in September 2023 and is hailed as “one of the most experienced and respected leaders in sports medicine”.

It’s understood from sources close to O’Driscoll that he feels now is the right time to leave after paving the way for further improvements having made a series of positive changes in the club’s medical department.

The club are keen to express that the departures are not linked to the redundancies currently being made, however, are also not connected to the extensive injuries and illnesses experienced at United, with 60 cases last season alone.
