Ukraine has expressed a willingness to accept an immediate 30-day ceasefire in the war with Russia, after meetings with the US in Saudi Arabia.
In exchange, the US has agreed to immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance with Ukraine.
Ukrainian and US officials have been meeting in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah, discussing the future of the three-year-long conflict.
In a joint statement by the Ukrainian and US delegations, the officials said the offer would now be taken to the Russians for approval.
The statement said Ukraine "expressed readiness" to accept a US proposal to enact a 30-day ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
The ceasefire "is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation".
The statement also outlined that Ukraine had reiterated "strong gratitude" towards US President Donald Trump, the US Congress and the people of the US for their support.
