Italian aerospace and defence giant Leonardo is working on a low-orbit satellite constellation, CEO Roberto Cingolani said Tuesday.
Leonardo is working on the launch, between 2027 and 2028, of a low-orbit constellation of military and civil satellites, Cingolani said while presenting the update of the industrial plan to the financial community.
Some 18 military satellites are planned, of which 6 infrared, and 20 for civilian use, he said.
