Everton are already looking at potential targets for the summer transfer window with many names linked with a Goodison Park switch.

The Friedkin Group have overseen plenty of changes in their short time as owners of the Merseyside outfit with their choice to bring David Moyes back arguably one of the best moves in the Premier League this season.

Changes are still set to be aplenty at Everton with Moyes now edging closer to his first summer transfer window since his return to the Goodison Park dugout.

So, it’s not all that surprising to see the rumour mill already starting to turn regarding what lies ahead in Everton’s future.

Everton eyeing up move for Sindre Walle Egeli

Everton are one of the many clubs doing “a bit of work” on Nordsjaelland attacker Sindre Walle Egeli ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Graeme Bailey via Everton News (11 March).

The attacker has contributed to 11 goals and assists across all competitions this season for with the report adding that a move for the youngster would likely be “very difficult” due to the number of Premier League clubs watching his progression.

“Sindre Walle Egeli is one of the top young European wing prospects,” he said. “The young Norwegian has been watched by a host of Premier League clubs.

“The Danish season is back underway and Everton are one of the clubs doing a bit of work on him, they are ready to move for some top talent this summer and don’t rule out the sort of player like Egeli.

“Although getting him would be very difficult, Everton going into this summer with Moyes and the Friedkin Group are a different proposition.”

Everton eyeing a move for Egeli makes sense

In the 2024/25 season so far, Everton’s wingers have been a major talking point.

Players such as Iliman Ndiaye have thrived when called upon but others such as Jesper Lindstrom only just seem to be finding their feet.

When Sean Dyche was in charge, the Englishman often chose to play Jack Harrison over Lindstrom and that’s likely had a lot to do with the lack of form that the Napoli loanee has found himself in this term.

With wingers being this much of a problem for Everton this season, it makes sense for Moyes and The Friedkin Group to be looking at potential targets to bolster their ranks.

Indeed, the 18-year-old has only played inside of Denmark throughout his short professional career but the fact he’s into double figures for his goal contributions outlines how much of a talent he is.

He’s fast on the ball and also has a keen eye for a pass with his versatility of being able to play on either flank yet another selling point for the attacker.

Indeed, these are all just rumours at the moment but if Everton are being linked with players such as Egeli already, their future looks set to be bright.
