New Players the Vikings Have Signed

DL Jonathan Allen - 3 Years, $60 million

Allen is a great fit for a 3-4 DE. He was a 3 time Pro Bowler in Washington, but it was a few years ago. Allen partially tore his pec in 2024, but was able to return in Week 18 for the Commanders. He has 8 years of experience with 42 career sacks and 60 TFLs.

DL Javon Hargrave - 2 Years, $30 million (estimate)

Hargrave is an excellent pass rushing big man. He had 9 years in the league with 3 teams (PIT, PHI, SFO). His best season was in 2022 with 11 sacks from the DT spot with Philadelphia. He had only 8 sacks in 2 seasons with San Francisco after missing 14 games last season with a triceps injury.

OG Will Fries - 5 Years, $88 million

Fries was PFF’s 3rd rated OG last yea through 5 games until going down with a nasty broken tibia. He’s 26 and signed for a very long time. This locks up both tackle spots and 2 out of 3 interior spots for the next two seasons.

C Ryan Kelly - 2 Years, $18 million

Bradbury has always been undersized and overwhelmed in the middle. Kelly isn’t a ton bigger, but he has been a lot more effective. He’s a four-time Pro Bowler and at just under 32 he’s closer to the end than the beginning. However, he brings a strong vet presence and a stabilizing force that was needed in the middle of this OL.

CB Isaiah Rodgers - 2 Years, $15 million

Rodgers’ career was off to a promising start in Indianapolis until it was derailed by a suspension for violating the league’s gambling policy. Rodgers played well in limited action last year for the Eagles. He’ll likely get a chance at the CB2/3 role with Blackmon coming back from injury and Stephon Gilmore not likely to be back.

S Bubba Bolden

He comes from the alternative leagues. He didn’t particularly stand out at the University of Miami in college and likely ends up in a reserve/practice squad role.
