After surviving early pressure from Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain took the lead in the 12th minute of the second leg, leveling the aggregate score at 1-1.
Nuno Mendes played a pass to Ousmane Dembele, who quickly shifted the ball to Bradley Barcola on the right. Barcola tried to set up Dembele again, but Ibrahima Konate’s sliding challenge inside the box accidentally set up Dembele for an easy finish.
The Frenchman, who didn’t score in the first leg, made his mark in the second leg, looking to play a key role in PSG’s comeback attempt.
